The Dallas Independent School District is no stranger to athletic prowess, and now it will have a place to honor its greats. Past Dallas ISD athletes, coaches, and other contributors can be nominated for their gifting on and off the field for Dallas ISD’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Dallas ISD’s celebrity athletes such as Michael Johnson and Tim Brown will have another place to be honored.

The Dallas ISD Athletic Hall of Fame website reads, “These individuals may include former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, contest officials, media personnel, sports medicine personnel, athletic trainers, or distinguished volunteers. Nominees may be active or retired from their fields and must exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct and moral character.”
