The Deep Ellum Foundation is installing new street light pole banners on Elm Street, Main Street and Exposition Avenue this week.
The series, dubbed “Deep Ellum People,” is the result of a call for nominations last year that received several submissions. The banners, meant to celebrate business owners, artists, musicians and other stakeholders, will be featuring over 120 Deep Ellum Cultural District community members.
The visit Deep Ellum Texas website will be providing full-length articles that detail information about the individuals featured on the pole banners. These stories will be released weekly throughout the remainder of 2024 and 2025.
