Woodrow Wilson High School Performing Arts Academy’s one-act play, The Marriage of Bette and Boo, was named best play last Friday in UIL competition, says Lakewood Bubblelife. If you’d like to check it out, it’s on tonight at 6 p.m. at Hillcrest High School, 9924 Hillcrest Rd.

Yesterday, Facebook was buzzing with reports about a 67-year-old man, who police believe they have found dead inside this house in East Dallas. The man was something of a hoarder, so police had trouble finding him amongst the clutter. Read more.

Scott Carlson Real Estate, a residential sales firm that specializes in properties in the Lakewood area and other eastern Dallas neighborhoods, has merged with larger firm, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, according to the Dallas Morning News. Read more.

Chris Xeros, a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and the founder of the Richardson Symphony Orchestra, will be inducted into the Woodrow Wilson Hall of Fame during the school’s 85th anniversary celebration April 5, according to Neighbor’s Go. Read more.
