The Alan Hoffmann Company, which prides itself on its “innovative green construction,” plans to build four hybrid homes on a vacant lot at the intersection of Gaston and Parkmont.

It’ll be called the Parkmont Urban Praire Homeplace because it was inspired by prairie architecture, which once upon a time dominated that area. Each of the homes will be LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) in keeping with Hoffmann’s commitment to build energy efficient homes.
