The A Reason To Live film, made by neighbors Allen and Cynthia Salzman Mondell, will be nationally broadcasted starting Oct. 21, on KERA TV at 10:00 p.m.

The Mondell’s have over 70 years of experience in filmmaking between the two of them and have been our neighbors for over 50 years.

Through the stories shared by individuals from different backgrounds, the film explores the psychological, biological and social factors that contribute to suicide and depression in teens and young adults.

The film has received a Lone Star Emmy for Best Documentary and has been screened at the Dallas Video Festival at the Angelika Theater.
