Gray Malin
ART for Advocacy is an annual art auction whose profits benefit the East Dallas-based Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, a nonprofit organization working to end child abuse.
The auction, now in its seventh year, highlights the transformative role art therapy plays in the healing of child abuse victims, organizers say. More than 100 artists contributed work to this year’s auction, including some from the Lake Highlands and White Rock area.

Last year the event garnered more than $500,000.

The art preview reception is Wednesday from 6– 8 p.m. The auction launch party is Thursday from 7-11 p.m.
All events take place at the Fashion Industry Gallery at 1807 Ross Ave.
