Read shop

If you’re looking to sip on a latte or snack on a pastry as you read a good book, this one’s for you. The Read Shop has a wide selection of lifestyle books with topics ranging from cooking to home decor and will be open until 7 p.m.

Keith’s comics

Comics count too. The comic book store in Mockingbird Central Plaza offers a wide selection of comic books, anime and manga related merchandise, trading cards and knickknacks. They will be open until 7 p.m.

Deep Vellum Bookstore & Publishing Co.

The indie bookstore sits in the corner of Commerce and Walton Street in Deep Ellum and is the largest publisher of literature in translation in the U.S., according to their website. They offer literary fiction, poetry and a large selection of books published by their company. They will be open until 6 p.m. If you also identify as a dog lover, you can pet the “shop dog” while you’re there.
