A dessert shop in our neighborhood is hanging with the frozen yogurt heavyweights in a new list of the best fro-yo shops in the country.
Monster Yogurt was one of just 13 shops named to the list, compiled by the digital food publication Delish. Monster Yogurt, which opened in the Casa Linda Plaza in 2012, has just two locations. The second opened in Richardson.
Other fro-yo shops on the list included national chains like TCBY and Yogurtland, with franchises throughout the U.S.
