Russell Plunk, who managed the store for a good part of the time it was there, has cancer. One reason for the wake Tuesday night was to raise money for Russell, who is one of the best people I have ever met. In fact, says Ann Spicer, who organized the event, someone offered to donate $500 after hearing of Russell’s plight.
If anyone else wants to donate, note the following (and given the way these things work, you need to do it exactly this way, says Spicer):
