Along with her good looks, Bambi is one smart cookie. Her East Dallas foster mom says, “Bambi sits back, watches and figures things out.”

Bambi is happy-go-lucky, playful and very personable. She loves to cuddle with her foster family and has been known to snuggle up next to whoever’s sitting on the sofa and take a nap in their lap.

Bambi is 3 and a half months old and almost house trained. She’s been fully vetted and is up to date on her puppy shots. The best guess is that she’s going to be a medium-sized dog.

Bambi’s story has been a labor of love. Her expectant mother and father were feral dogs living near Fair Park. Volunteers started feeding them and won their trust.  When Bambi and her litter mates were born, the volunteers caught the family and made sure that they were safe and off the streets for good.

Bambi is available through Animal Rescue of Texas along with her littermate/little sister, Belle.
