Authorities arrested a man Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of a 21-year-old woman in Old East Dallas.
Charles Parker, 32, is charged with murder in the slaying of Rachel Witcher. He was booked into the Dallas County jail, where he is being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
Police found Witcher suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when they responded at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday to the The Wilshire apartments at 4645 Bryan St. She was taken to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
