OK White Rock runners and fitness gurus, here’s some news you can rally behind: Luke’s Locker has signed on as a tenant at Arboretum Village, according to the DMN.
Dallas-based Luke’s Locker specializes in running and fitness gear and apparel, which is no doubt why they are interested in a spot so close to White Rock Lake where they’ve sponsored events and other activities.
The report says Luke’s Locker will be in a 7,500-square-foot building, which will be built on the front of the shopping center. It’ll be one of Luke’s largest locations, Luke’s Locker president Matt Lucas told the news.
Luke’s Locker is the third tenant Lincoln Property Co. has announced for Arboretum Village — first Fresh Market and then Ace Hardware, which currently occupies a space in Lakewood Shopping Center.
Luke’s Locker is a family-owned business founded in Dallas more than 35 years ago. The company has a few stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but only one in Dallas proper, which is actually fairly close to us, located off Mockingbird just across 75. They also have locations in Houston and Austin.
