“I have made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to close our doors. We’ve never fully recovered from the effects of Covid and peoples’ spending habits have changed over the last few years. That doesn’t negate the amazing community we’ve all built and all the wonderful experiences we’ve shared in this sweet space,” Hensley posted on Facebook.

Lotus Yoga, located at 6337 Prospect Ave., offered in-studio and virtual classes through Zoom and its website. Classes ranged from deep, restorative stretch and therapeutic massage to more intense movement focusing on the mind and body connection.

The studio’s last day of classes will be held on Sunday, July 28th.

The owner shared that she will be contacting auto-debit members individually. If members have classes left on a pass, they are welcome to share credits with others, she added.

“I am deeply saddened, but also so very grateful for the support and friendship this experience has brought to my life, and I speak for all of our teachers when I say that the Lotus community has made an indelible difference to all of us,” the post said.
