Look: Woodrow Wilson High School's Homecoming parade

Homecoming is as festive as ever, and neighbors lined the streets to catch candy, beads and take in the sights of the Woodrow parade Thursday evening. Teams, clubs and organizations loaded up in floats that spanned elementary, middle and high school students, with many alumni there as well. The Grand Marshall of the parade was Gary Griffith, Woodrow class of ’66 and former Dallas City Councilman.

This weekend is full of Woodrow related fun, with the Homecoming game tonight at 7 p.m. against Adamson at Franklin Field, and Woodrow Fest, a fundraiser for scholarships hosted by the Exchange Club, taking place on Saturday night. Learn more about Woodrow Fest and purchase tickets here.
