Earlier today the city sent someone out to cover the sinkhole on Swiss between Haskell and Peak with a metal sheet.

Neighbor Whitney Thompson, who sometimes writes for Advocate, shared this photo on Twitter earlier today:

And here I thought the potholes in East Dallas were bad.
The sinkhole outside the Swissaire Apartments on Swiss between Haskell and Peak. Thompson later posted pictures on Facebook saying the City of Dallas sent someone to put cones around the hole, which Thompson says looks to be about four feet deep.
So that’s cool… It’s just a four-foot sinkhole in the middle of the street, guys. No big deal.
