Lakewood Library Friends has announced its Annual Book Sale Fundraiser, held at the Lakewood Branch of the Dallas Public Library. The Book Sale will be taking place from Sept. 4 through Sept. 7. A Members Only Preview will be held on Sept. 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Book Sale will have an “extensive selection of rare books and art books” alongside their regular selection of fiction, nonfiction, biography, history books and more according to the Lakewood Library Friends Membership Chair Debbie Simurda. The organization will be adding new book options during each day of the sale.
Lakewood Library Friends will also be accepting donations of gently used books. All types of books excluding business or reference books are accepted. Donations will need to be made on or before Aug. 29.
