East Dallas-based artist Karen Blessen’s peace-focused nonprofit Today Marks the Beginning worked with LL Hotchkiss Elementary students on a peace pole project recently. The students planted a peace garden, and they contributed artwork to the pole. In this video, the mosaic peace pole is unveiled, and they dance around the maypole. 05.05.2011
