Neighborhood resident Sarah Strain is up to the task of making an innovative cupcake. She runs a bakery, Eat My Cake, out of her home in Lakewood. She made those Friday the 13th cupcakes up there, and she can make cakes or cupcakes on just about any theme. She even made this batch to celebrate a client’s nose job.

Stain’s perfectionist designs are labor intensive and therefore not cheap. The dozen Friday the 13th cupcakes, for example, cost $70. But they’re something special.
