Sunday’s vendors include Caliper Farm to Market, Chandler Family Farm, Demases Farms, Drop Dead Delicious Pickling Company, Five Mile Chocolate, Full Circle Bakery, Fruth Farms Southwest, Highway 19 Produce and Berries, Texas Honey Bee Guild, Urban Chicken and Yims Foods.

Vendors at the Lakewood market come from a 150-mile radius of Dallas and will grow or make what they sell. The market will accept Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program benefits and will double the amount users spend of fresh produce.

“We needed a Sunday market to be able to cater to folks who can’t make our Saturday market, but more importantly because we want to give our vendors an additional day to sell their products and increase awareness about local farmers in Texas,” market organizer Casey Cutler told the Dallas Morning News.
