Equipped with blue ribbons, shaved ice and plenty of flavored syrup, the Lakewood Neighborhood Association on Sunday raised $2,400 for Dallas Police officers.

The neighborhood association set up shop at Lakewood Park from 2-4 p.m. selling frozen treats and accepting donations. Screen Shot 2016-07-25 at 2.37.14 PM

Last week several neighbors set up lemonade stands to help raise money for police officers. A group of local chefs also held a fundraiser for the families of the fallen police officers with a $50 a plate dinner.
