This is hosted by the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA and serves as a fundraiser for Lakewood Elementary School, J.L. Long Middle School and Woodrow Wilson High School.
There’s a daytime tour and a candlelight tour this weekend, but the candlelight tour is currently sold out. (Or, it was when I originally published this article; a few VIP candlelight tour tickets appear to have opened up as of around noon on Nov. 6.) However, you can still buy tickets to the daytime tour, which are $45 each. With this daytime pass, you can visit the homes on both Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You’ll get a guidebook with your purchase.
There are six homes in the tour (seven if you’re already booked for the candlelight tour), including a 100-year-old Dines & Kraft home on Lakewood Boulevard.
Buy your tickets here.
P.S. – If you’ve never been to a home tour before, know that there are few specific rules that need to be followed to respect the homeowners’ properties. Check out FAQs on the LECPTA’s website.
