A New York City skyline float at the Lakewood Fourth of July parade announced the theme, guiding the elaborate costumes for the night of the auction party, which will be 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the Hilton Anatole.

Attendees are encouraged to don their best Upper East Side attire, from Carrie Bradshaw to Frank Sinatra and The Real Housewives of New York. If going all out isn’t your style, formal gowns and cocktail attire will do just fine. The Jordan Kahn Orchestra will provide entertainment for the Empire State-themed evening.

The auction and home tour benefit Lakewood Elementary School, J.L. Long Middle School and Woodrow Wilson High School. The home tour follows the auction party on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. There is also a candlelight tour on Saturday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Home tour tickets are $20-$30 and will be available at around the neighborhood. One of the featured homes will be 6738 Lakewood Boulevard. General admission tickets to the auction are $150, which includes the home tour and candlelight tour.
