Suzy and Rob Renz’s house on Pasadena was remodeled with a lot of architectural salvage, including the old basketball gym floors from a rec center in Oak Cliff and Highland Park High School, their alma mater.
Their house was on the Lakewood Home Festival Tour this year, and it was featured in a Dallas Morning News story about the home tour.
Someone who works for “The Nate Berkus Show” saw that story and asked to feature the house.
“They’re doing a show on architectural salvage, and they thought it would be a good fit,” Suzy Renz says.
They expect a the show to come tape after the holidays. We’ll let you kow when they set an air date.
