Goodfriend Beer Garden and Burger House will have the privilege of tapping the first Lakewood Brewing Co. kegs Saturday. Neighborhood resident Wim Bens started the commercial brewery last year after quitting his full-time job in the advertising business to pursue the venture.
Lakewood Brewing will offer two kegs, an American rye wheat called Rock Ryder and a Belgian IPA called Hop Trapp, starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4.
