There’s nothing wrong with enjoying the beauty of Lakewood from the ground, but sometimes it’s better with a bird’s eye view.
Rockwall resident C.J. Bricker captured these photographs last month with a drone while in the neighborhood eating at Scalini’s Pizza & Pasta.
“I got the drone about a month ago, so it’s new and hasn’t worn off,” Bricker said. “I try to fly it every chance I get.”
Through a button on the remote, which is similar to a tablet, Bricker captured the Lakewood Theater, the Wells Fargo building and the downtown Dallas skyline.
The photos are five-frame HDR shots stitched together on Photoshop.
“There’s no story behind it,” he said. “I was just having pizza and enjoying a beautiful night.”
