Oral Fixation is a live stage show from Lakewood-based actress Nicole Stewart, who invites Dallasites to tell their true stories onstage.
The show was inspired by The Moth and This American Life and produces “high-stakes, personal, true stories revolving around a particular theme.” This month’s theme is “Home is Where the Heart is.”
Participants work with Stewart in an editing process that “brings forth the truthiest, juiciest parts of their stories.” Then they read their stories onstage before an intimate audience.
The second show in the Oral Fixation series is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary. Tickets cost $10.
