A majority of county precinct chairs elected Noble to the interim position vacated by Carol Donovan after the COVID-related death of her mother. Noble, who rose to the top of the five-candidate field, will serve through spring 2022.

“I’ll be an inclusive leader for the people from day one because it will take all of us to grow our majority and turn Texas blue for the people,” Noble said. “Thank you to the precinct chairs and every supporter who made this win possible. Let’s build this party together.”

Noble’s priorities include building support for precinct chairs, increasing voter turnout in South Dallas, recruiting Democratic candidates throughout the county and expanding the donor base to fund year-round programs.

Noble has lived in East Dallas for 14 years and co-founded the Funky East Dallas Democrats, a volunteer organization that has grown from 35 to 4,500 people in just four years.
