Expect to find comic book heroes at this year’s Lakewood parade, which starts at the corner or Lakewood and Cambria and heads to the Tokalon tennis courts, and past presidents at the Little Forest Hills parade, which begins at Diceman and Old Gate and ends with refreshments at Casa Linda park. Both parades begin at 10 a.m.
The Hillside parade, beginning and ending at 6463 Lange Circle, will showcase neighborhood kids with fun games afterward, like a frozen T-shirt contest and dads racing each other on tricycles. Plus, Hillside gourmet caterer Jennifer Kimberly will be serving up breakfast to neighbors along with local heroes, police officers and firefighters. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m., and the parade takes place at 9 a.m.
