Jakes hamburgers has plans to build a new store on Henderson.
The Dallas-based burger chain, which has a location in Lake Highlands, is taking the land at Henderson and Belmont.
This will be the fifth location for Jakes.
By the way, have you heard? In-N-Out Burger really is coming to Texas. But we’ll have to schlep all the way to Firewheel in Garland to get to the first one. Hopefully, one of the other five places In-N-Out is said to be scouting will be closer to our neighborhood.
