The Muscular Dystrophy Association and Matt's No Place Restaurant in Lakewood teamed up to arrest 35 good-hearted Lakewood citizens to serve time for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The jailbirds were ÒarrestedÓ from their places of employment and transported to MattÕs No Place, where they were sentenced and fed some Òjailhouse grub.Ó Each jailbird was sentenced to serve one hour behind bars or raise $1,000 bail money at the jail site. The Lakewood Lock-Up raised more than $18,500 to benefit children and adults living with muscular dystrophy. Some of the top-fundraising jailbirds included Bassan Arrabat of Sonic Drive-In, Robin Harrison of Eckerd Drugs, Angelo Chantilis of Burger House, Frank LaBarba Jr., Theo Regas, Mimi Jernigan of Blessed Vines and Margaret Jernigan from Bryan Adams High School.

The dinner served to first-class passengers on the last evening afloat will be prepared by Pyramid chef John Edwards and includes oysters a la russe, poached salmon with mousseline sauce, filet mignon Lili, chicken lyonnaise, roasted lamb with mint sauce, asparagus salad with champagne saffron vinaigrette.
