Idol Records in East Dallas and Dallas rock band Dead Flowers have released a brand new Christmas single just in time for the holidays.
“A Lot Like Xmas” is available this week on iTunes, Amazon and other download/streaming sites. If you’d like to check it out online first, it’s attached below, although be warned: it has serious earworm potential. You will be humming this for the rest of the day.
Also, on Dec. 10, Idol Records will release the debut album Rivals from Dallas Indie Rock Band Red Like Heat. Spotify and iTunes both released it earlier this week.
Red like Heat will have a co-release show with West Windows on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Three Links in Deep Ellum. A $10 cover charge will include copies of both bands’ new CDs. Austin band, Magnet School will open the show. For more, view the event page.
