The perpetrator in one of the city’s biggest ever identity theft cases confessed to victimizing 14 residents at the C.C. Young retirement community near White Rock Lake.
If you look back at June’s Advocate story, “Love Thy Neighbor”, you’ll see some of the sweet, elderly folks residing at C.C. Young — this crook, 42-year old Furnioes Giddings Parker worked as a dietitian aide there.
I’m happy to say the court didn’t take her identity-stealing spree lightly (at least not this, the second time she got busted). She was sentenced to 38 years.
