Over a week after the Central Texas floods, there are still ways to provide assistance by supporting businesses in East Dallas. Here are some you can visit to help:

1. SusieCakes Bakery (Hillside Village)

All net proceeds made from SusieCakes’ Texas Flood Support Cupcakes will be donated to Kerrville Pets Alive! and the Community Foundation — Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, the company announced on Instagram. The cupcakes are chocolate or vanilla and topped with vanilla buttercream frosting, a red heart, and a red, white and blue sprinkle border — they also come in a four-pack with two chocolate and two vanilla cupcakes!

In East Dallas, SusieCakes is located at 6441 East Mockingbird Lane.

2. Milliard Diamond Concierge (Knox-Henderson)

All net proceeds from the Texas Love Necklace, a gold heart pendant with a round peridot stone, will be donated to charities benefiting Kerr County flood victims.

Milliard Diamond Concierge is located in the Knox-Henderson neighborhood and sees clients by appointment only. The Texas Love Necklace is only available for purchase via the website.

3. Bullzerk (Lower Greenville)

This Texas gift shop’s proceeds from its new “United In Love for the Hill Country” T-shirt will be donated to the TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund.

Bullzerk is located at 1909 Greenville Ave.

4. Studio 6 Fitness (Lakewood)

Studio 6 is hosting pop-up community donation classes this week, the fitness studio announced on Instagram. All proceeds will go toward the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, with S6 matching every dollar raised. The Lakewood location is offering four sessions: two Wednesday, one Thursday and one Sunday. Donation classes cost $25 each.

In East Dallas, Studio 6 is located at 7317 Gaston Ave.

5. Café Duro (Lower Greenville)

Duro Hospitality, which includes Café Duro, will donate a portion of sales to the Texas Hill Country Flood Relief Fund through the end of July, the group posted on Instagram.

Café Duro is located at 2804 Greenville Ave.

6. Natural Grocers (Casa Linda)

All 25 of Texas’ Natural Grocers locations are now accepting donations at the register to aid communities affected by flooding, according to KSNT. Customers can donate $1, $5 or $10 to the American Red Cross’ regional flood relief efforts when they check out at the grocery store.

In East Dallas, Natural Grocers is located at 9440 Garland Road in Casa Linda Plaza.

7. Lake House Bar and Grill (White Rock)

The Lake House plans to host a fundraiser Monday, July 21, it announced on Instagram. The restaurant will donate 35% of proceeds from food sold between 4-10 p.m. to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

The Lake House is located at 7510 East Northwest Highway.

8. Birdies Embroidery

This Dallas-based boutique is selling embroidered Camp Mystic sashes on its website to benefit the camp’s families. Sashes are available for $15, $25 or $100, with all proceeds going to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. They’re free for Camp Mystic alumni or impacted families.

Birdies Embroidery is online but founded by a Lakewood resident.
