The annual Homeless Point in Time (PIT) Count in Dallas and Collin Counties will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday Jan. 23, at First United Methodist Church.
Organized by Housing Forward NTX, PIT is the annual count of individuals experiencing homelessness. The count, required by the federal government, is meant to help communities understand the extent of homelessness.
Event staff is looking for adult volunteers to participate and contribute to the organization’s efforts to address homelessness in the community.
