There may be a bit of construction dust in the Mockingbird Station air, but that only adds to the aura of mystery in this spooky month’s events.

Every Thursday at 8 p.m. in October, the Angelika will screen Alfred Hitchcock movies outdoors. The month starts out with “The Birds,” followed by “To Catch a Thief,” “Rear Window” and finally “Vertigo.” Hitchcock gurus can participate in trivia and win prizes.

Instructors from American Power Yoga will offer a class Saturday, Oct. 6 at 9 a.m. on the second level Mezzanine by the Angelika. The first ten to show up get a free yoga mat. There will also be refreshments and goodies from Relativity Outdoors.

Celebrate the Mustangs’ homecoming game and grab some swag at the Mockingbird Station tent on SMU Boulevard between noon and 2 p.m. on Oct. 27.

Party it up Halloween Eve (Hallow’s Eve Eve?) at the People’s Last Stand with drinks, fortune telling, live music and more swag. The event takes place Oct. 30 from 6:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m.

Make friends and get fit at the social runs, held by Relativity Outdoors and the White Rock Running Club, every Monday at 6 p.m. throughout October. Meet at Relativity Outdoors in suite 170 and jog 3-6 miles to the Katy Trail and back. Participants get refreshments and a 30 percent discount.
