This Sunday neighbors are invited to Heyday Skincare’s summer send-off celebration on Knox-Henderson. The event will consist of end of summer festivities and freebies to wrap up the season and reset for fall. From 10 AM to 4 PM, the shops will offer fun ways for attendees to “refresh”. The location will include various vendor pop-ups and activities for people to enjoy.

Neighbors can expect smoothies from Crisp & Green, popcorn from The Porch in Knox-Henderson, a build-your-own hat bar by Wild Knox, and canned beverages from Crook & Marker and Avaline Wine

The event is intended to be a fun, free, and easy way to refresh before schedules get too busy for the upcoming fall season.

Attendees can bring any old skincare products and swap it for a brand-new one personalized to their skin, while supplies last. All swapped skincare packaging will be recycled by Heyday through a beauty-specific recycling program. Those who do not bring a product can still receive a complimentary travel-size product when they book a future facial on-site at the event.

“So many of us have at least one old or empty product container stowed away in a drawer somewhere,” said Erica Garcia, Shop Educator of Heyday’s Knox-Henderson location in a press release. “Why not put that old item to good use? Bring the packaging to us, and we will ensure it is recycled properly and that you walk away with a quality new product, personalized to your skin, to try out for free.”

Other goodies include gift bags from varying local spots when attendees book a facial during the event. Those who book a facial at Heyday on Sunday will automatically receive a gift bag from the event.

Heyday Skin Therapists will also be present to recommend  some of their best-selling, travel-size skincare products.
