Rhett Miller of the Old 97’s fame will play two shows this weekend for a good cause. He will be entertaining on Saturday at 3 p.m at The Good Pagoda on Garland Road and will follow up with show at the Granada Theater at 8 p.m. with Ben Kweller, Jonathan Tyler and Jack Ingram, both of which benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This will be the 11th year of the event, and the first live music performance at The Good Pagoda. Tickets for the Granada show are $55-$110 and can be purchased here.

Support the J.L. Long Middle School band at Long City Limits this Sunday at the Granada Theater from noon to 2 p.m. A Hard Night’s Day, Whiskey Pants, Free the Turtles and Woodrow Jazz will all be playing the benefit concert, which will include barbecue from Lakewood Smokehouse. Student tickets are $5, adults are $10 and a $25 family pass is also available. They can be purchased here.
