No, you didn’t just win a wild weekend in Vegas. Henderson Tap House is opening on March 6 at 2323 Henderson, and they’re throwing a three-day celebration to lure you in the door.
“The ultimate goal is to make sure everyone who enters the building leaves with ‘The Tap House Experience’ – a guaranteed experience not soon forgotten,” says managing partner Tim McEvilly in a press release.
And actually, despite the rowdy “bar gone wild” opening celebration, they’re going more for a “bar next door” vibe.
“Henderson Tap House will offer Dallas a new neighborhood hangout with classic bar service, casual American food and a sports-centric atmosphere,” the press release says.
The 7,000-square-foot space houses two large bars mirroring each other and serving 24 draft beers, more than 50 bottled beers, as well as a selection of spirits with an emphasis on exceptional whiskey and bourbon. It also features a large patio overlooking Henderson Avenue.
With a wood fire oven anchoring the kitchen, HTH pizzas will be served until 1:30 a.m. Other menu highlights include prime rib and potato nachos, and shrimp with a sriracha house glaze, The Fire Breather burger with a jalapeno stuffed patty topped with pepper jack cheese and fire sauce, lobster mac and cheese, and braised chicken thighs with cheddar hominy grits. Then, finish it off with a plate of house-baked chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk.
HTH will have multiple HD TV’s, and they’ll host live acoustic entertainment, DJs and dancing on weekends, plus pub trivia and more. Happy hour will be Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Henderson Tap House is located at 2323 N. Henderson. Hours are Monday through Thursday 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Friday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Lunch is available Friday through Sunday and the full menu is available until 10:30 p.m. nightly with late night wood fire pizza offered until 1:30 a.m. Valet parking available.
