The HD’s Clothing Co. annual sale starts Wednesday, with 40 percent off everything in the women’s and men’s stores. Next week, the discount dives to 50 percent, then 60 percent on July 7. "The deal is, we have one sale a year. We clear everything to the walls, and then we close … so that we can go on vacation and not worry about anything," said Michelle DeMarco, manager of the women’s store. "Then we reopen with the fall collection." The stores will be closed between July 12 and 24.
The 30-year-old art store between the men’s and women’s stores, Ole Moon, closed in February. But HD’s, which opened in 1981, has no plans to expand into the middle space, DeMarco said.
