East Dallas-based Half Price Books ventured into the online book-selling game last week with its new website, hpbmarketplace.com.
The site has 120 million titles, and the store aims to compete with other big-box book retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Borders.
The family owned chain has 110 stores and has annual sales of $220 million, according to the Dallas Morning News.
