Jim Chester, with Chester & Jeter, LLP, hosted the Greater East Dallas Chambers “E&I Committee Happy Hour” last week at Times Ten Cellars, and he was impressed with the turn out. The “E&I” stands for “entrepreneurs and innovators.”

“In addition to having quantity — well over 40 people showed up — we had quality as well,” he said in an email after the event. “Lots of business owners, creative types, as well as tech folks.”

Chester started the group because he had a hunch the East Dallas area was “hungry for a place where entrepreneurs, and technology/creative innovators could network, get support, and share ideas.”

If you didn’t get the chance to attend but are interested in future events, there are several more events coming up, including another happy hour in September and a “lunch and learn” in October.
