Good Records plans to spinoff a boutique record store on Garland Road near the Kitchen Recording Studio. It’s called Good Pagoda.

It’s next door to the space, in the 9000 block of Garland Road, where members of the Polyphonic Spree recently opened a bar called Here. Good Records also is owned by members of the Spree.

The band’s co-founder Julie Doyle told the Dallas Morning News, “We are fans of the great Pagoda in Wes Anderson’s film, The Royal Tenenbaums.

The Good Pagoda will sell records as well as gifts and artwork produced by local artists.

Jessica Jordan’s Super Yoga Palace will occupy the second floor, offering 30 yoga classes per week.
