Glasgow Carwash has potential as office building

It served as a neighborhood carwash for decades, but now a 1/3-acre property on Live Oak at La Vista is for sale at $895,000.

The site of the former Glasgow Carwash is zoned neighborhood services, so it has potential as a two-story office building.

Real estate broker Joe Jackson says the current owners bought the carwash with the intention of building a medical center, but they instead decided to build elsewhere.

He says potential buyers’ ideas for the property include building a 3,000-square-foot dental/medical building, a two-story office building or a two-story building with office on the ground floor and residential above.

“We’ve had a few offers on it, but it is still for sale today,” Jackson says.
