The White Rock Marathon is Sunday morning, which means that most of the residents of East Dallas, Lakewood, and the White Rock Lake areas of Casa Linda and Lake Highlands will have to deal with traffic jams throughout the morning.

The race map is here, and the area around the lake should be a mess for most of the morning. The course stays open until 2:30. Organizers are expecting 15,000 runners, starting at Victory Park at 8 a.m. One other question: Why is it called prestigious Highland Park in the race information?
