Come out to see Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, a rock-infused folk band, this Friday at the Granada Theater. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $24.

The Dallas Arboretum is hosting the Founders Garden Club of Dallas who is presenting a workshop, “Everything You Wanted to Know About Fall Vegetable Gardening” this Saturday from 9:00-3:30 p.m. in Rosine Hall. This event is free to those with paid garden admission.

At 8 p.m., head to the Pocket Sandwich Theater this Friday to see “The Victims”. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. and the show starts at 11:15. This event costs $12 at the door.

At 11 a.m., head to the Dallas Arboretum this Saturday to enjoy the Savor the Flavor Series presented by TWU. This event is free with general admission and will be held the Test Pavilion and A Tasteful Place. Registration is required.

At 10 a.m. this Thursday, join Jason Young at C.C. Young to learn about phone solutions for those who struggle with hearing loss. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (214) 841- 2831.

This Saturday, enjoy an acoustic performance from BJ Barham of American Aquarium from the band’s new album, “Things Change” at Good Records. This event will begin at 4 p.m.

Head to Four Day Weekend this Saturday at 9 p.m. to enjoy laugh out loud performances. This event is for those 18 years and up. Tickets are $25.
