If you’ve ever driven by Lakewood Furniture Company, 2225 Abrams, you’ve probably thought two things. One, they only carry furniture; and two, it’s such a small space that they have to set half their inventory outside. Both would be wrong. Despite its name, the store is filled with a lot more than furniture (though it has a fine selection of mid-century antique imports): candles, greeting cards, jewelry, wall sconces, chandeliers, mirrors, crosses and funky art deco knick-knacks, examples of which are shown here.
