Three East Dallas elementary schools will serve free meals to students who may go hungry over winter break.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided at Geneva Heights, Ignacio Zaragoza and Charles A. Gill beginning Dec. 23. Students can also receive meals Dec. 26, Dec. 27, Dec. 30, Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.
A mid-morning snack will be served from 9-9:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from 12:30-1 p.m. Enrichment activities will also be available to students who attend.
Winter break meals are free to all children through 18 years old and all students with disabilities, regardless of age.
