The May 2008 Advocate cover story was all about free stuff and we listed several spots that offer free wireless Internet connection (surprisingly less places than I expected but at least we can always count on Starbucks). Since the mag came out I came across two great neighborhood spots that didn’t make the list in print — Fat Daddy’s Burger House, 9540 Garland Rd, and Green Spot Market and Fuel (while it looks like merely a gas station, Green Spot has a little sit-down section for healthy, enviro-friendly snacking/ socializing/ surfing).
