With kids getting ready to start school, My Salon Suite of Lakewood is hosting a haircut event to help local Dallas students get ready for the school year.
Kids from kindergarten to fifth grade can receive a free haircut when $5 worth of school supplies are donated. Items can include paper, notebooks, crayons, glue, etc. Donations will be given to local Dallas schools.
The salon at 6115 La Vista Drive hopes to give back to the community while also giving kids a cool, fresh look to start the year right.
The event will take place from 3-6 p.m. Sunday.
