Gary Foreman of the Dallas Drum School will be at Legal Grounds from 4:30-6 p.m. today, Jan. 11, for a free discussion and demonstration of percussion instruments.
There is a misconception that learning a percussion instrument requires a full drum kit or ear-splitting practice, Foreman says.
He will demonstrate some instruments, talk about drumming in different cultures and take questions.
